Come Grow With Us!

The tribal administration is bridge from tribal people to the services they count on.

Growth. Everywhere you look, we’re growing. We have new enterprises, new buildings for our departments, and an expansion of services to tribal members.

Native American Preference Policy

The Indian Preference Policy (Resolution 021011-R-03) states “Legally enrolled Eastern Shawnee Tribal members shall be given preference if the Tribal member’s experience, qualifications, training, and all other criteria included in the job posting are equal. Tribal Members or Citizens of other Federally Recognized Tribes shall have second preference following the same criteria, followed by any other applicants.”

Administration Benefits

The Eastern Shawnee Tribe offers a very competitive benefit program. Employees earn paid vacation, sick leave and holidays. The generous, partially self-funded insurance program provides health and dental coverage. The tribe carries $25,000 life insurance on each employee to ensure peace of mind for families. Employees can add dependent children to the insurance at extremely reasonable rates; spouses are also eligible for coverage. The 401k program helps employees establish savings for bright futures.
